Treadmill Running Assessments
RunEASI 3D Running Analysis
RUNEASI utilizes cutting-edge 3D technology to offer comprehensive insights into your running mechanics. Our 3D motion sensor is embedded into an easy-to-wear belt worn by the runner during treadmill (or outdoor) assessments, precisely capturing dynamic stability, impact loading patterns, and symmetry. These metrics are synthesized into an easily interpretable total running score, providing detailed biomechanical insights. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a novice runner, RUNEASI is tailored to optimize performance and mitigate injury risks
The RunEASI running assessment tool caters to:
Runners of all Levels: From beginners refining technique to elite athletes enhancing performance.
Injury-Prone Runners: Individuals recovering from or susceptible to running-related injuries seeking deeper insights.
Athletes Returning from Injury: Ideal for assessing readiness for multi-directional running and facilitating safe return-to-play protocols.
How does the process work?
The RUNEASI assessment begins with a comprehensive review of your medical and running history, complemented by a thorough orthopedic examination to assess movement patterns and limitations.
I then conduct the assessment primarily on a treadmill, analyzing your running technique using RUNEASI technology. Based on the assessment findings, we prescribe a tailored regimen comprising strength training, run-specific drills, plyometrics, and real-time gait re-training.
Following the initial assessment, runners typically schedule monthly follow-ups to reassess their running score, refine gait re-training using RUNEASI insights, and progress their personalized training program
NOTE: All RunEASI Running Assessments will take place at Movement First Physio (6766 75th St NW Edmonton)
